A modest proposal

My parents are visiting Seattle at the end of the month — they’d given me their itinerary and a rough idea of what they were interested in seeing, so I put together a little plan of events.

Rather than stick to my usual “simplify as much as possible but no further” design goal, I tried something in the style of John Warwicker, a master of the printed page who (as a member of Tomato) has collaborated for years with Rick & Karl from Underworld.

I ended up with something mock-serious, having an air of formality betrayed by its content — which is perfect.
