After much deliberation, I’ve settled on a new design for my consulting business card:

I’m constantly amazed at how cool line drawings look! The Eames lounge chair on the card was lifted from DWR then (manually) converted to vector art in Adobe Illustrator.
So far I’ve heard two complaints about how I spelled out my email address, but I don’t care… it just looks right.

I am going to admit that I for one was the first to “comment” on the e-mail address. I think the average person is not going to get it, but it does look better without using the @ and the . but that isn’t the point :) Oh well…..
I tend to think that it isn’t the common person who ends up needing their problems solved, and thus those who do will find the creativity of your card quite fresh. I think it’s a great move !

You know that I already weighed in on this remark and totally agreed with Amanda. I like the @mac.com personally because for all of us lesser beings, at mac dot com is just damn confusing. But like you told me before it’s your card.

You said I couldn’t edit my comment, so I’m posting again. It’s best if all of your friends say one thing…that you follow along whether you get it or not. Like if your friends all hate your bf/gf, you should break up with them because your friends are right. If you meet a creepy guy on New Years and your friends get a creepy vibe signal, you should not communicate with him because he will turn out to be married.
And yes, if your friends are all jumping off of a bridge and they tell you to, you should. :)

But it’s so much more fun when you can pick and choose who to listen to and who to ignore! :-D–>
